Our standard warranty covers your Decker device for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. If any country has a mandatory legal warranty period longer than 2 years, the longer warranty period will apply in accordance with local laws.

– Defects in materials and workmanship
– Faulty hardware components
Not Covered by Warranty
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by external factors such as power surges or extreme environmental conditions
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless the failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship
- Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports
- Damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by DotMatrixLabs
- Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of DotMatrixLabs
- A product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of DotMatrixLabs
- Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product
- Any damage or issues arising from changing, modifying, or attempting to alter the device’s firmware in any way, including installing third-party firmware.
How to Make a Warranty Claim #
If you experience any issues with your device within the warranty period, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:
1. Contact Us:

2. Provide Proof of Purchase:
- Include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation.
3. Find the serial number:
- Find the serialnumber of the device under the device tab in Dot X. If for some reason you are not able to access the device in Dot X, please note down the info located under the device.
4. Describe the Issue:
- Provide a detailed description of the problem, including any troubleshooting steps you have already taken.
5. Return Authorization:
- Once your claim is reviewed, you will receive instructions on how to return your device for repair or replacement.
Legal Warranty Periods
While our standard warranty period is 2 years, certain countries have longer mandatory warranty periods. In such cases, the longer warranty period will apply in accordance with local laws.
Warranty Remedies
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by DotMatrixLabs within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion:
– Repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts
– Replace the product with a new or refurbished product
– Exchange the product for a product of equal value
– Refund the purchase price of the product
Consumer Rights and Additional Warranties
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
