Knob Compatibility

Customizing your Decker with new knobs is a great way to make it your own. This page covers everything you need to know about compatible knobs, specs, and current options—whether you’re buying third-party knobs or 3D printing your own.

Official Knob Specs #

The knobs used on Decker have the following specifications:

  • Length: 23.3 mm
  • Width: 11.8 mm
  • Height: 11 mm
  • Shaft diameter (inner hole): 4 mm
  • Shaft width (flat edge): 1.2 mm

These are designed for standard 4mm fader stems (commonly used on audio gear and synths).

Third-Party Knobs #

If you’re looking to purchase compatible knobs, search for:

“Fader Knobs 4mm” on marketplaces like Amazon or AliExpress.

⚠️ Please note:
We haven’t tested most third-party options, so fit and quality may vary. Some knobs may sit too tight or loose, or not align perfectly with the fader stems. Use caution when applying force during installation.

3D Printed Knobs #

For full customization, 3D printed knobs are a great option.

This gives you full freedom to match your setup, style, or color theme. You can even remix the design if you’re feeling creative.

What About Our Own Knobs? #

We’re currently working on a knob kit, which will include:

  • A full set of Decker-compatible knobs
  • A custom-designed knob removal tool
  • A custom storage case
